Traqués (ex A l’ombre des forêts, ex Hunter)

Franck et sa bande d’amis aiment passer leurs week-ends à chasser ensemble. Un dimanche, ils tombent sur un autre groupe de chasseurs qui les prend pour cible sans raison. Franck et ses amis ripostent en envoyant un des attaquants au sol. S’en sortant de justesse, les quatre amis décident de garder le secret sur cet incident. Franck tente de reprendre une vie normale avec sa femme Krystel, mais dans les jours qui suivent, la paranoïa s’installe et le groupe d’amis se sent traqué par des ennemis désormais déterminés à se venger. <strong>Note</strong> La série <em>Traqués</em>, qui devait initialement être diffusée sur Apple TV+ à partir du 3 décembre 2025, a complètement disparu des radars mi novembre ; exit les bandes annonces, l’affiche, toutes infos se rapportant à la série. La cause : Cédric Anger, créateur, scénariste et réalisateur de <em>Traqués</em> aurait tout simplement “plagié” le roman <em>Shoot</em> (édité dans l’Hexagone sous le titre <em>La Traque</em>) de Douglas Fairbairn publié en 1973 – et déjà porté sur grand écran sous le titre éponyme en 1976 par Harvey Hart d’après un scénario de Richard Berg, avec Cliff Robertson, Ernest Borgnine et Henry Silva. Le 19 février 2026, la série est réapparue sur les tablettes de Netflix, avec une diffusion prévue à partir du 4 mars 2026. Et Gaumont de préciser : “Dès que cette information (le fait que la série censée être une création était en fait inspirée de <em>Shoot</em>, ndlr) a été portée à notre connaissance, nous avons immédiatement engagé les démarches nécessaires afin d’identifier les ayants droit et d’obtenir les autorisations requises. Le respect des œuvres et des droits des auteurs est un principe fondamental pour Gaumont, qui ne peut s’exercer qu’en confiance et transparence avec les créateurs.” <strong>In english dans le texte</strong> Franck and his longtime friends enjoy spending their weekends hunting together, but one Sunday, they come across another group of hunters who start targeting them without explanation. When one of their party is shot, Franck’s friends strike back, sending an attacker to the ground. Barely managing to escape, the four friends keep the event a secret. Franck tries to go back to his life as usual alongside his wife, Krystel, but in the next few days, he starts to feel like he and his friends are being watched, or worse, tracked by hunters who are now hell-bent on revenge. <strong>Résumé du livre </strong><em><strong>Shoot </strong></em>Rex is an uber-macho hunter who together with four equally testosterone-addled buddies embarks on a hunting trip in the Canadian wilderness. But their weekend is cut short by a rival band of hunters they encounter in the forest, one of whom inexplicably take a potshot at Rex’s party and grazes the head of one of his buddies. Another of Rex’s friends returns fire, killing the shooter. From there Rex and company scurry off and head back to civilization. Rex decides not to contact the authorities about the killing, betting the rival hunters will react the same way. To confirm this he looks up the murdered man’s identity and tracks down his widow. She reveals that her deceased hubbie’s buddies claim he was killed by a ‘stray bullet.’ This doesn’t entirely satisfy Rex, however, who becomes convinced that the dead man’s companions are going to come after him and his friends. Rex makes plans to head back to the scene of the crime the following Saturday, where he’s positive the rival hunters will be waiting for them. He recruits a small army and a veritable arsenal of firepower as accompaniment. The fateful day arrives. Rex and his mini-army, guns at the ready, set out into the now snow covered forest. It appears deserted.
